Curious what the IPFW Admissions crew looks for in applications submitted via the Common App? We’ve got you covered. We sat down with the Admissions team to get a better sense for how to make your application to IPFW stand out.
Q: What application materials does IPFW require that I can submit through Common App?
A: IPFW requires the basics that every other college also wants through the Common App. We require official transcripts from your high school, and from any colleges you previously attended where you earned credit. (This includes colleges where you participated in a dual credit program, like IPFW Collegiate Connection™.) If you earned a GED, you must submit an official copy of your GED transcript.
Sending these items through Common App is the fastest and most efficient way to get them to the Admissions team, but you can also send your transcript through an electronic transcript service, such as Parchment, or even through the mail.
Just make sure you request the documents to be sent directly to IPFW; if you forward them to us yourself, we may not consider them official.
IPFW doesn’t require letters of recommendation or personal essays to be considered for admission.
